Abstract :
A wide band circularly polarized (CP) dipole excited slot antenna is proposed. The dipole is placed in a rectangular slot and tilted by an angle in its plane to realize wide CP antenna. Antenna is fabricated with an optimum tilt angle for maximum 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth. A newly developed flared arm dipole is used in the structure to attain wide impedance match.
