Abstract
The relationship between domestic industrial restructuring and outbound FDI is not concrete. Particularly it is unknown that how domestic industrial restructuring affects outbound FDI. This paper finds that the goals of Korean outbound FDI match well with the goals of Korean domestic industrial restructuring, and Korean domestic industrial restructuring promotes the development of Korean investment in China, and predicts that Korean investment in China will change to be more technology intensive structured, some transiting to knowledge seeking investment, and spatial dynamics in China will be intensified.
