Abstract :
This paper introduces the analytical step of transmission box lightweight. First, Pro/E software is used to establish the three dimensional Mathematical Model of the box, then ANSYS Workbench software is applied to carry out the finite element analysis. After the data are post-processed by ANSYS Workbench, the stress, strain and deformation of the box are obtained, which provides a basis for the optimization of transmission boxes.
