Abstract :
An original stabilisation method for monolithic mm-wave integrated circuit (M3IC) amplifiers has been developed, based on lossy CPW junction. The method enables stabilisation of the amplifier outside the signal bandwidth without affecting signal and noise performance within the bandwidth. The method is illustrated on the example of a design of a 140 GHz three-stage InP M3IC CPW amplifier.
