Abstract :
A reconfigurable PIFA using a PIN diode for multi-bands in the mobile phone is presented. The operation bands of the proposed antenna can be shown to GSM850/ GSM900 / DCS / PCS / UMTS. By means of switching PIN diode ON, the proposed antenna can enable the combined antenna to include more service band, LTE. Results of the proposed antenna fabrication are shown to good agreement through concordance with simulation and measurement results. Detailed simulation and experimental results are studied and investigated in this paper.
