Abstract
This paper proposes a 4G mobile phone antenna, which consists of a multi-line monopole antenna and a meandered loop on the other side. The meandered loop is coupled by the multi-line monopole and resonates low and high frequency bands. A C-shaped copper strip extended from the loop is used for improving antenna´s impedance matching and bandwidth. After carefully adjusting the parameters of the proposed antenna, the operation bandwidth based on 6-dB return loss is 0.68 - 1.35 GHz and 1.66 - 2.71GHz. The antenna performances and overall dimensions of 60×115×10 mm3 are suitable for today´s mobile phone application.
