Abstract :
In this paper, we propose the vehicle position environment acquisition and communication evolution (V-PEACE) scheme and discuss its system architecture. Each vehicle in the V-PEACE scheme can exchange its position information with each other by broadcasting pulses on a time division frame. The pulse is transmitted at a timing decided by the vehicle´s position on the road in the V-PEACE scheme, and this scheme can avoid signal collision completely. In addition, a bandwidth requirement and a extension of a communication function keeping compatibility with the unextended scheme are discussed
