Abstract :
A quasisynchronous code-division multiple-access (QS-CDMA) system for microcellular network is considered. The proposed QS-CDMA system employs an overlay spreading code allocation scheme in order to suppress the multiple access interference (MAI). It is shown, by analytical and simulation results, that, compared with the conventional concatenated scheme, the overlay spreading scheme exhibits better system performance.
