Abstract
In this study the usability of L- and C-band SAR polarimetry in boreal forest remote sensing is examined and discussed. The influence of snow cover, weather conditions, forest type and several other aspects to forest backscattering in L- and C-bands is investigated by using multitemporal polarimetric images
