Abstract :
This work analyses the performance of an OFDM system with frequency equalization. The equalizers, using a learning sequence, estimate the frequency response of the channel at each sub-carrier. The global performance of the system is then analyzed using the importance sampling technique. With this fast Monte Carlo method, a BER of the order of 10-5 only requires 1000 simulations. The gain in simulation time is exceptional
