Abstract :
A set of high-voltage pulse generators is described. They are used for generation of gigawatt microwave radiation pulses in vircator or relativistic BWO with ~50 Ohm diode impedance. The first two generators are based on inductive energy storage and an exploding wires switch. The output voltage and the power of the first generator are ~600 kV and 10 GW, respectively. The second generator provides the 20 GW and 60 GW pulses in the 50 Ohm and 12 Ohm vacuum diodes with FWHM ~300 ns. The third generator based on Marx´s generator and water forming line provides the 1 MV pulse on the 50 Ohm diode. The generators design and the testing results are presented.
