  • Abstract
    A new type of thin film superconducting meander antenna is investigated using the theory of cavity model in conjunction with a full-wave electromagnetic simulator. The size of the meander antenna is much smaller than that of conventional small antennas such as an H-shaped patch. Simulated results on return loss, radiation pattern and efficiency are shown to be in good agreement with those obtained from network analyser measurements.
