Abstract
The polynomial expression is a new and powerful model to interpret the light scattering process inside leaf/soil system and decipher the nonlinear relationship between component spectra and canopy reflectance. In our previous work, we have outlined the forward model and analyzed its feature. For models with large number of parameters, their inversion is a challenging problem. This paper presents the algorithm and strategy that makes the complex multivariant inversion problem efficient and stable
