Abstract
This paper presents the design of phased array antenna for radar respiration measurement. Modified Fermi antenna is employed to construct the antenna array. To provide optimal feeding to the designed Fermi antenna array, a 4×4 Butler matrix using parallel strips is designed. Simulation results have verified the good performance of the proposed phased array. The proposed phased array system will be integrated with a Doppler radar radiotherapy system for improved real-time tumor tracking.
