Abstract :
The technology of diamagnetic loop diagnosing intense pulse beam is on-line diagnostics. The technology can diagnoses beam emittance and obliquity on-line cooperating with other technology such as three gradient method. In this paper, we introduce theory of diamagnetic loop, design and calibrate diamagnetic loop device. And we diagnose Dragon- I accelerator electron beams radius and emittance. By the DML, average beam radius in the flat of pulse in the !2th accelerator cavity is 17.25mm, which are accordant with the result of CR measuring. Emittance at the exit of accelerator is 2480 π ·mm· mrad.
