Abstract :
In this paper we present a proposal to adapt the Natural Language Engineering course to the new European Higher Education Area. This adaptation is inspired upon three bases: the incorporation of the student as central element of the teaching-learning process, a detailed planning of attendance and non-attendance activities, and continuous assessment. The teaching methodology includes the definition of learning objectives of the course and their classification in three levels: knowledge, under-standing and application, the design of all activities for achieving them and the definition of a model of assessment at line with the proposed activities. Finally, we evaluate our experience and propose some improvements for subsequent courses.
