Abstract :
Transmit diversity can significantly improve system performance by providing diversity gain against Rayleigh fading channels for downlink CDMA systems. In this paper, a delay transmit diversity scheme combined with multiuser detection is proposed for the convolutionally coded CDMA systems. The performance of the proposed detector is evaluated and compared with the uncoded system and the conventional coded system without multiuser detection. The simulation results show that the significant improvement can be achieved in the system performance
