Abstract :
Congestion control from the input side of exchanges with concentrated buffers is studied. A mathematical model for the problem is proposed. The best buffer size is obtained by computer simulation. The relationship between different performance evaluation parameters such as time delay, loss rate of cells is discussed.<>
