Abstract :
Over-mode circular waveguide is widely used to high power microwave transmission. The bend and conversion between modes of transmission line is required in many applications. In this paper, TM01 mode waveguide bends with different angle is designed by means of theoretical analyses of coupled wave and the constant curvature bend to give out relation between the bend angle and curvature radius of curved waveguide. Simultaneously the twin bend method is used to realize high efficiency conversion from TM01 to TE11 mode. The correctness of theoretical analysis of coupled wave is verified by numerical simulation in the design example.
