Abstract
A methodology for finding out an appropriate access network architecture on B-ISDN is proposed. The authors extract the considerations to determine the most economical and efficient access network architecture and set up the organic interrelationships between them. They also show the network evaluation methods to choose the most appropriate access network architecture among the alternatives. Finally, they propose a broadband access network architecture and its evolution scenarios that are suitable to the Korean environment.<>
