Title :
Low power VLSI circuits for mobile communication
Abstract :
In this work the author concentrates on the mixer and subsequent IF digitizing performed by the A/D converters in a general receiver. Tools for analyzing the distortion behaviour of a mixer are discussed, then architectures for the mixer are considered. A mixer model is presented and a noise analysis performed. Sigma-delta modulators and pipeline ADCs are discussed
