Abstract :
An efficient full-wave analytical method is presented for the nonperturbational loss calculations of the transmission lines. The method is based on the extended spectral domain approach combined with the mode-matching technique, and the computational labor is significantly reduced. Numerical results reveal the usefulness and the limitation of the approximate perturbational methods. The present method is easily applicable to the cases with layered anisotropic media.
