Abstract :
A switched two channel filter bank incorporating high temperature superconductor (HTS) filters has been designed and manufactured. The filter bank consists of two 7-pole, 0.3% bandwidth filters, centred at 7.97 GHz and 8.00 GHz. Switching is provided by two SPDT PIN diode switches. The performance of a SPST switch has been studied over the temperature range 300K to 31K. Similarly, the filters have been measured as individual components. The filters and SPDT switches have been integrated into a single assembly and their performance has been measured.
