  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new design of time controlling time domain ultra wide band (UWB) antenna array based on software radio technology (SRT) analytical algorithm is presented. With the novel design array, automatic scan of synthetic pattern is realized. Theoretical analysis and computation is employed to set accurate delay time for each element of the array. Scanning angle can be reached to ±30 degrees. It has high precision and speed, and it is a promising choice for ground penetrating radar (GPR), nondestructive testing (NDT).
