            Abstract : 
A method for designing nonreciprocal 2-D filters is proposed. The approach is based on the use of nonreciprocal one-way lines and 1-D reciprocal subnetworks. The problem of the approximation and realization of 2-D filters can then be solved in terms of the 1-D filter theory. Two examples are considered: a mixed lumped-distributed network and a wave-digital filter.<>
