Abstract
With the advancement of technology, customers and vendors collaborative design systems is already the existing trend. Previous study has shown that the efficient exchange and sharing of product data through out the lifecycle is critical to the collaborative design. The main purpose of this research is to proposed collaborative design information systems that can effectively integrate suppliers and client resources. As a result of other different industries, and its information system collaborative design process will be different. Approach: This study places the focus the use of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) decision support tool for collaborative design information system in Taiwan Highway Bureau´s Control Information Systems (CIS) of case study analysis. Conclusions: Combination of AHP-based approach proposed in this paper can provide decision makers with a more balanced, realistic, and accurate representation of the risk and challenge of conducting collaborative design for control information system.
