Abstract :
Based on an improved model of an optical phase-locked loop (OPLL) and the rate equations of an external cavity semiconductor laser, the effects of OPLL feedback on the stability of the external cavity semiconductor laser are discussed. The conditions for the local laser working stably with the phase-locking feedback are established.<>
