Abstract :
As an extension of Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) in complex, Complex Empirical Mode Decomposition (CEMD) is a powerful tool for complex data. The characteristic of CEMD under the complex white Gaussian noise has been studied. It is proved that CEMD is a dyadic filter bank. Experiment has been carried with simulated signal from the vector sensor, and analyzing the complex signal by EMD has compared with analyzing it by CEMD. From the result of simulation, it has been proven that CEMD is better than the original EMD.
