Abstract :
Full-scale measurement and mathematical prediction are widely accepted as being valid means of obtaining target radar cross section (RCS) data. Sub-scale modelling, however, is viewed with suspicion in some quarters. By comparison with full-scale and predicted data, this paper demonstrates the validity of the technique, and the important role that it plays in target design, system evaluation and algorithm development
