Abstract :
A millimetre wave monolithic oscillator, which combines the power of two pHEMT devices, has been realised. Measured results of the powercombined output are presented together with that of the individual device outputs. In addition to higher output levels, the combined output also demonstrates improvements of phase noise reduction and frequency stabilization.
