Abstract :
In this paper, a novel remote sensing image fusion method was proposed based on IHS transform and brightness adjustment using QB multi-spectral data and high-resolution SPOT data combined SFIM algorithm. First, the traditional HIS fusion algorithm and the combination of wavelet and HIS fusion algorithm were analyzed; Secondly, according to the shortage of traditional HIS fusion, this paper proposed a remote sensing image fusion method based on IHS transform and brightness adjustment; Finally, two experiments were conducted to compare the three methods, three indicators: the information entropy, root mean square error and peak signal to noise ratio were used to evaluate the capability of the three methods mentioned above. Experiments result showed that the improved algorithm used in fusion performance is better, and the complexity of the algorithm reduced significantly.
