Based on the industry environment characteristics of the construction field, the TIEPI model of influencing factors on IT implementation in construction project is constructed; According to this model, this paper then systemically reviews key project-level influencing factors, including collaborative maturity of project members, technology propagation model of the project, complexity of the project, duration of the project and IT initiation stage of the project, and analyses how these factors influence IT implementation respectively. While providing a guide for industry participants to successfully apply IT, this paper also offers a systemic model basis for future researches. In the future researches, more concern should be given to investigate the influencing factors for IT implementation in the construction projects in developing countries and to quantitatively analyze relationships between different level influencing factors.
