  • Abstract
This paper puts forward a new multiuser detector in asynchronous CDMA systems. Unlike the existing asynchronous detectors, the new detector is characterized by its low cost of computation and easy realization. Furthermore, the performance of the proposed algorithm is superior to the conventional method. To achieve these performance advantages, some changes have been made in the asynchronous CDMA system which makes the channel a memoryless one, then a linear detector whose transform matrix size is equal to the number of users can be employed
