Abstract :
Summary form only given. In this paper, we demonstrated mid-IR lasing in a new laser crystal RbPb2Cl5:-Dy3+. It is a promising active media for developing of reliable and durable solid-state lasers, which could be tunable in the 5-6 μm wavelength range matching to a transparency window of atmosphere.
