Abstract
A cultivated land forecast system based on Grey-Markov Chain Forecast Model has been developed for land management of Hubei Province, P. R. China. The model and detailed prediction steps of the system are described in the article. Also, as a system designed for a better decision-making in land management, the prediction result is represented by both thematic map and document. The system has proved an effective tool in land management by providing reasonable prediction results
