Abstract :
It is necessary to achieve the image of dynamic information in the earthquake emergency analysis and quick report system based on UAV aerial images. It requires special demands to the imagery processing. Therefore, we extend the opening operation in mathematical morphology and put forward the concept of extended opening operation. Software development for the algorithm is implemented by using VC++ 6.0. Processing practical image using this software satisfied practical requirement. Performance of the system with practical image demonstrated that the opening operation proposed in this paper extended functions of opening operation of mathematical morphology and is of theoretical and practical significance.
