Abstract :
To make possible a complete integration of all telecommunication functions and to allow for the network-wide control of supplementary services, private networks are combined to form corporate ISDN networks. CorNet is the comprehensive protocol for signalling in such corporate ISDN networks. The authors explain the intentions of CorNet, clarify its relationship to other national or international ISDN protocol specifications and demonstrate some of the new features which were introduced with CorNet. CorNet is definitely committed to CCITT standards. It specifies how these standards apply for communication in corporate networks, and what additional extensions are required to satisfy the demands of private signalling
