Abstract
The intelligent emergency response system was developed to compute and simulate the spread of hazardous materials leak with WebGIS when emergency happens, such as hazardous material leak accidents. In the system, much of data correlative to the rescuing strategy, such as geography location details, the spread concentration changes with time, the population distribution around, the rescue force around, the transportation and so on, all can be showed on WebGIS. Through the intelligent system, the spread trends of hazardous materials and the affected area becomes predictable and visual, and more data is connected to be computed and shown visually to response the emergency, therefore the emergency rescuing strategy due to the comprehensive data will be more efficient, accurate and reliable.
