Abstract
Tire pressure monitoring system can monitor the real-time tire pressure of vehicles, and give an alarm when tire is at exceptional state to ensure the safety of driving, which is the life safeguard pre-warning system for drivers and passengers. A tire pressure monitoring system based on wireless sensor networks technology which is described in this paper and the hardware structure is also be put forward. In order to meet the requirement for system energy consumption, a communication protocol is proposed based on the energy-related access technology of TDMA. This system can monitor the inner practical temperature and pressure of each tire and the security accidents can be well avoided.
