Abstract :
To realize intelligent analysis and knowledge reuse for combinatorial jib of portal crane, an expert system for finite element analysis was developed based on knowledge engineering. According to the research on the knowledge of finite element modeling and analysis process, the function design, flowage structure and implementation methods were studied in particular. The expert experiences, theories, design standards and other related knowledge used in the stage of finite element analysis were categorized and described. Then, the knowledge base was constructed based on rule-based expression and object-oriented method. The reasoning mechanism based on case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning was presented. Practice has proved that the system can significantly increase the efficiency of analysis, and has good reliability.
