Abstract :
A method of nonperturbing diagnostics for negative ion beams based on electrons resulting from their near-threshold photodetachment is considered. A compact apparatus for realizing this method in the Moscow Meson Factory Linac (MMFL) and measuring various parameters of H/sup -/ ions beam is proposed.<>
