Abstract :
Rule induction is an important kind of machine learning technique. Aiming at finding efficient algorithm of rule induction, this paper studies generating rule set from decision system as a basis of data analysis of rough set, presents a method to simplify decision system on the premise of preserving classification ability of original decision system, and to get the decision of this simplified decision system, designs an efficient approach of rule induction based on decision matrix by using logical expression transformation. Finally, an illustrative example is used to show the feasibility and efficiency of this algorithm.
