Abstract :
Base rate optical clock recovery of an 8 GHz clock signal from a 32 Gb/s (4×8 Gb/s) OTDM data stream was demonstrated by incorporating injection locking of a short cavity Fabry-Perot laser diode with opto-electronic feedback.
