Abstract
Resonant Tunneling Diodes (RTDs) exhibit negative differential resistance (NDR), when biased appropriately. This feature could be used to add functionality in conventional circuits. In this paper, we incorporate the electromagnetic field theory and the circuit parameter extraction approach to design active integrated antennas in the wireless communication frequency range.
