Abstract :
Taking Hengshan County; which is located in middle of the north China agro-pastoral transition zone as an example, this paper describes the land use/cover change and land degradation based on TM images received in 1991 and 2002. Data choice and linkage of remote sensing information with geoscientific process was also addressed at the end of the paper
