Abstract :
In wireless mesh network, resource & bandwidth allocation is important for achieve efficient and collision-free rate transmission. Therefore, the wireless mesh network standard e.g WiMAX defines three scheduling mechanisms to schedule time resources in the mesh mode, all of those algorithms are based on time division multiple access (TDMA), such that coordinated centralized scheduling, coordinated distributed scheduling, and uncoordinated distributed scheduling. In this paper, we evaluate coordinated distributed data scheduling and comparing basic scheme and multi-grant scheme by develop simulation platform in MATLAB. Data scheduling performance parameters measured in throughput, bandwidth satisfaction ratio, and fairness index as a function the number of nodes. The results of simulation shows that multi-grant scheme give better performance that basic scheme.
