On the basis of the principle of ABC classification, this article analyses its shortcomings. ABC classification is carried through the improvement by introducing AHP method, and taking the Inventory management of college logistics group as example, establishes evaluation indicators of the product inventory management, determines the weight of various indicators, calculates the integrated Score of various products, combines with the traditional ABC method to classify stock products. Various factors in inventory management are more comprehensive consideration. It is a good classification.
