Abstract :
Multicore processor is one way to address peak performance demands with a design. Multicore devices deliver highly scalable performance and low power, and so they can offer high levels of design flexibility. Here some of the optimization techniques to improve the speed of the Multicore processor based motor controller using FPGA and CORTEX-M1 processor is used. Some of the techniques were proposed to improve the execution speed of the motor controller by means of effective execution techniques, Interrupt handling, Fast Memory access, Simplified Programmer´s Model, Eases Coding, Effective utilization of Phase Locked Loop. This will improve the efficiency of the controller and reduce the time, power, cost requirement for the design of the controller.
