Abstract
In this paper, we have demonstrated all-optical control of unstable steady states and unstable periodic orbits of a multisection semiconductor laser in a proof-of-concept experiment. The results open the possibility for future noninvasive control of unstable regimes with arbitrarily fast time scales.
