Abstract :
With the rapid development in Personal Communication Network(PCS) and multimedia streaming technology, people can get all kinds of digital interactive contents by various mobile devices at any times no mater at any places. Therefore, ubiquitous learning has gradually played an important role in many educational domains. So, we propose an intelligent navigation and learning system applied in library information management. We combine the RFID technology and Mobile Agent to M-Learning system of library in order to get the timely and proper information in the right place for every student, teacher and reader. Therefore, the defects of the traditional library are for example: the most readers who hovered around the book sea of library are unpracticed and lack of knowledge for the arrangement and taxonomy of all kinds of books, journals and magazines in library environment. Secondly, the precious information which be finally found for spending much time are not often preserved as the digests at once to index the systematic information later. Therefore, we applied the radio frequency identification technology (RFID) in PDA phone to construct our intelligent library information system which can supply not only the customized library guidance and multimedia introductions of all kinds of book according to the visitor´s personal preferences, but also provide the proper related knowledge for readers. Meanwhile, by the RFID readers to form the indoor network we can provide the environmental aware services and record the reader´s moving path to support our intelligent navigation and customized multimedia information and services which are belong to the preferences of the readers. Finally, through different functions of AP servers which record the latest dynamic reader´s querying media of books and reading behaviors, our mobile agents can periodically collect these data to provide the recommending AP server with the intelligent guidance and effective professional book manageme- - nt.
